Responsibilities for Software Test Engineer
- Be responsible for the software quality of the system, actively work to automate the test whenever required.
- Hands-on Experience testing cross-browser Web applications.
- Designing test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures and executing tests on source code/builds.
- Analyzing test results and reporting to the development team.
- Working with cross-functional teams for ensuring quality throughout the SDLC and Flexibility and ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidate will be responsible for Manual, Functional and other types of Testing and reviewing requirements, creating, executing and documenting tests cases.
- Implement, execute, support, and deliver accurate test results in a timely manner. Report and track bugs.
Collaborate with members of global teams involved in the projects. - Troubleshoot and debug errors to identify the root cause and coordinate with respective teams for fixing and re-testing.
- Flexible to learn new process/technologies as per the team needs expansion.
Your Background
- Degree in Computer Science, Software engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Solid Manual software testing experience (minimum 3 years working in a software team preferably using an agile process like SCRUM).
- Solid knowledge of C#, .NET is a plus.
- Good knowledge and experience with QA methodologies and best practices.
